Carlton graduates next week

Operation Bootcamp Day 13

After three weeks of waking up at 5 a.m., giving up Taco Bell, McDonald's and beer, Carlton Hargro is looking forward to the end of Operation Bootcamp.

"I'm ready for it to be done," Carlton said. "It's fun and it's good for me. I needed it, but man it ain't fun."

The ladies at Operation Bootcamp want Carlton to return for a second month, but he isn't sure.

"At some point I have to learn how to workout by myself," he said.
"If I find that I'm not doing it or I find that I'm going back to my bad habits then I will definitely come back to this."

Should Carlton come back for another month?

  1. We definitely want Carlton to come back. I've read from different sources that it takes anywhere from three weeks to three months to establish a new routine - for something like this, that's a huge lifestyle change, I'd say give it at least four more weeks and see where he is. Come on Carlton, give us one more month!

  2. I'm not saying if he should go back or not...that's ultimately his decision but if he needs someone to be there for support I'll go with him (as long as they let me do girl pushups)

  3. @ Darren: You are silly! And if this is Tank, come out to the June session. I'm planning to train with them to learn to be a trainer, and so is Kitch.

  4. Don't forget that the veteran campers get a Free Day. You know what this means...Carlton can have a beer if he wants or even splurge on Taco Bell. The rewards for hard work and dedication.
